Valfaccenda — the seat
The intervention at the terrace of Valfaccenda Cascina is the first of a series of contributions made in collaboration with Valfaccenda wine makers: Luca and Carolina. This work reflects on the themes of observation, cataloging and archiving. I worked on the concrete seat of La Cascina. I have told the story of the territory that surrounds us: Roero. An analytical immersion in a territory that once was a sea, made up of layers, sediments and debris. We therefore find allusions to fishes, to the sea, to the fossils and the fantastic vegetation that populated these territories 130 million years ago.
